Acer XK Irons
Acer XK Irons have recently been compared to Callaway X-22 irons with its sleek narrow design that is very forgiving and still give you all the same performance as all the new clubs. It is made with a non polished 431 stainless steel so at first look it appears dull but could be a new way to finish irons in the future, but I still prefer those nice shiny or polished irons that look so good on the course.
Beginner junior golf club sets are a great foundation for any new golfer between the ages of 5-12, after the age of twelve they will need to get a full set preferably something not really expensive. Junior club sets come with five clubs, either a driver, fairway wood, two irons and a putter or a driver two fairway woods, one iron and a putter. There is no right or wrong way which ever you decide.
About two weeks ago I played golf with a gentleman who played golf right handed but putted left handed. I asked him why? He told me that it helps him keep the putter more stable and has better contact. So of course I had to try it myself, now ill tell you that this is not for everyone because it was very uncomfortable and I seem to have no ability to keep the putter stable and I lacked consistency but that could all be because I’m new and not used to it. But I recommend at least trying to putt with a left handed golf putter.
Just yesterday I was puttering around and I thought to myself if anyone buy or make mallet putter head covers. It seems kind of weird but when I’m out playing golf I never see anyone with any other kind of head cover other than the one it comes with. So I recently found some places online that offer different kinds of head covers for mallet putters ranging from sports teams (college, pro) to superhero and even just unique leather ones.
Over the past few months I have been playing with a Musty Putter. Now not everyone has herd of them but they are all custom hand made wooden putters from wood all around the world. They are very beautiful putters but they probably the best feel of any putter on the market today. When I say custom they take your shaft length, degree angle and you can choose from an assortment of grips but that not even the best part. You can pick any of the woods in any style and put any kind of engraving on them you want. These rank at the top of best mallet putters.
Looking around all the different golf stores in my area they all tend to have basically the same models of golf weighted swing trainers and grip trainers. Now I noticed a momentus trainer that seems very good and looks very functional with the weight being distributed throughout the entire shaft and grip this gives the user a nice even swing. Unlike some of the other trainers what have all the weight in the head and can make you over stretch your muscles.
Back in the day fairway woods were actually made of wood but now are called fairway metals because they are now made of steel or titanium. The first metals fairway wood was produced by Taylor Made in 1979 but there was not many believers in this new club it took a while before players began to see the difference and change the way golf is played. Make sure you put in some good practice time with your fairway metals because it will make a difference in your game.
The dynacraft on-line putter is a great learning tool for beginners just starting to play golf. It is quite heavy weighting 370 grams, which will give you much more power with out having to hit the ball hard. It also has a 3 degree loft which I am not very fond of because it tends to make the ball bounce, skip and hop off the face of the club which mess up your line your aiming for. I would prefer a zero degree loft keeping the ball on the ground.
460cc golf drivers are no worse or no better than the titanium drivers you hear about the most like you Titleist or TaylorMade ect. The 460cc does not come with one of your premium graphite shafts but it does come with one if that’s what u prefer or you can always choose steel but that is not recommended. When picking your 460cc driver make sure you look at everything loft, shaft, length, grip, and most important feel and consistency cuz this will be one of the most purchased clubs in your bad among putters.
Many people these days are so money conscious that when they think of getting rid of there regular driver head cover and thinking of the extra money they have to spend to get oversized head covers. When actually you can by one of them for right around $20 off the Internet or even possibly at a local store. There are so many choices to pick from and even places that you can create your own.
